Three Cheers for Garrison Keillor!

Just returned from a trip to the Twin Cities (one of which is MINNEAPOLIS, for Jared's sake...) While cruising the Mall of America, I passed a store dedicated to Lake Woebegon (Prairie Home Companion? Anyone? Anyone??) :o) and a t-shirt in the window caught my eye:

"If a man speaks in the forest and there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"

Cracked me up... so I shot it out via text message, and some of the replies were even funnier!
  • "Heh heh, nope - we are never wrong. Women just can't see the truth." Jared
  • "HELL YEAH!" Stephie
  • "Yes. Always wrong! LOL" Tina
  • A few moments later..."And Tuggles says No" Jared
  • "I would say yes!" Dana
  • "Men are wrong on so many levels!" Damon
  • "Depends... what prompts the question?" Eva
  • Then a few moments later... "Uh, yeah - why the need for clarifying the well-documented?" Eva
  • "Cute and the answer is Yes." Rebecca
  • "No." Dan (big brother)
  • "Yes lol" Vicky (sister-in-law!)

So the gals agree... but I didn't buy the shirt. The person I had in mind (as a thank-you for Tuggles-sitting) will instead receive a shirt that says:

Bad Spellers of America - UNTIE!!!

It's just more fitting. :o)
